Server Closed
Hello Nessies, for some of you this may come as a shock, and to others it was simply a matter of time, but NessCraft will soon be closing down. The first NessCraft server held an excellent community and was what fueled our motivation to work on the server, and while there have been some wonderful players since then, the second installment of NessCraft has not been enough to keep people interested. It is too exhausting and futile to put so much hard work in for the sake of such a small player base, and ever since the EULA was introduced by Mojang, Mess and I have been running the server bills from our own pockets due to lack of donations.
Some of you have been with us since our opening almost two years ago now, and while many of these players have gone on to become staff here, I am convinced that they will agree with our hard decision. We would like to thank all the players who have supported our hard work over the past two years, and wish the best of luck to players who may still call Ness their home, as I do.
As with the last closing of the server, the world map will be available for download soon should you wish to continue with your efforts in single player, or on your own private server with friends. The survival world will be available, the spawn and other areas, being in different worlds, will not.
Again, thank you all for your support over the years, NessCraft has meant so much to me, and to all of us, and I can honestly say I have never worked on anything so hard in my life, but this is why we must close, as the fruits of our efforts simply aren't enough. Goodbye Nessies, we hope you will remember all the great memories you've shared here, I know I will!
